Use a spoon or tongs for flipping.
Heating times may vary depending on oven wattage and may need adjusting.
- Remove the chapati from deep freezer and place it on a preheated pan.
- Cook the chapati, while adding 1/2 teaspoon of oil or butter to the sides of the pan.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes (on medium flame), flipping every 30 seconds.
- Keep pressing the chapati gently till both sides turn golden brown.
- Preheat the oven to 200 – 220 ᵒC.
- Lightly brush both sides of the chapati with oil or butter and place the chapati on a foil lined metal tray.
- Bake for 3-4 minutes and then flip the chapati.
- Bake further for 3-4 minutes till it turns golden brown.
